We know how difficult it can be for the millions living with diabetes to get to their A1C goal, which is why we’re so excited to work with Merck on America’s Diabetes Challenge to help those affected by type 2 diabetes address the everyday challenges of managing it. The Association is proud to partner on a program that addresses these issues head on with the aim of making a difference in the lives of people with type 2 diabetes and those who care for them.
At Merck, we’re dedicated to helping people with type 2 diabetes. We’re thrilled to work with all of these important voices to encourage people with type 2 diabetes and their loved ones to take America’s Diabetes Challenge, and look forward to continue hearing how people like you from all across the country are putting our tips into action. Thank you for joining us on this journey.
We understand that diabetes is a real challenge for our listeners and followers, whether they are personally affected or know someone who is. That’s why we’re excited to team up with Merck and the American Diabetes Association to ask Americans to share their experiences with type 2 diabetes.

In 2003, I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes after having my blood glucose tested at a health fair. Despite having a family history of the disease, I was completely unaware that I had type 2 diabetes. After my diagnosis, I got serious about my health and worked with my doctor to establish my own A1C goal. I took the next step by eating healthy, exercising, sticking to my treatment plan and coping with my disease, and it’s been exciting to see all the progress that you’ve made. Keep up the hard work! |
